Together with Luzia and Lukas from Switzerland baisike.li we continue to travel south.
It is great fun to be together, time passes really different. There is so much to tell : )
Here we set up our camp in Conaripe at the lake.
We were so fascinated from the view and the clouds... we took tons of photos until we realized we should hurry! The wind came and blew of the half installed tent and it started to rain heavily!
Philipp put his GoPro camera to film the storm. The water got so high that after a while we realized the camera is gone!!! But we had luck, the lake was so clean and one of the warmest in Chile. Philipp took off his pants and found it!!! The best: the camera works and we have the video!

... with views on the many lakes but unfortunately the snowcovered peaks are hidden behind the clouds!

It did not quite work that well, but it was great entertainment for us while waiting in the cold under the roof of a small grocery store.

From Porto Fuy we took a 90 minutes ferry to the border of Argentina called Huahum.
After two days of heavy rain we had luck and the sun came out for the ride.

The southern part of Argentina is way more expensive than the North.
Sometimes we rent a cabin. With four its okay and on rainy cold days it is pure luxury.
Here we asked the firefighters if can pitch up the tents behind their firestation.
We cycled the beautiful Ruta de los 7 Lagos but unfortunately on a rainy day.
Weather got better, mood too and finally we had some hours in T-Shirt and shorts.

Zusammen mit Luzia und Lukas aus der Schweiz baisike.li setzen wir unseren Weg in den Süden fort. Leider haben wir so einige Regentage, manche harren wir in einem Schlösschen im Wald aus, andere verbringen wir auf dem Rad. Doch wir hören, dass vor zwei Wochen noch Schnee lag! Da ist Regen doch besser und noch besser, dass er wieder aufhört. Leider sehen wir die wunderschönen Seen auf der 7 Seenroute nur durch Wolken, aber auch so ist die Umgebung wunderschön. So grün! Und der Kontrast mit den Schneebergen, der Hammer! Zu viert geht die Zeit ganz anders vorbei, wir haben viel zu reden und genießen die Abende (wenn es nicht regnet) am Lagerfeuer mit Rum und Tee!
Wieder einmal übertreten wir die Grenze zum Nachbarland Argentinien. Wir sind überrascht über die Unterschiede zwischen dem Norden des riesigen Landes und dem touristischen und deshalb sehr teuren Süden. (sehr teuer ist immer relativ, aber hätten wir nicht unseren Spezialkurs wäre es teurer wie in Deutschland). Doch die Bäckereien und unsere geliebten Alfafores sind noch genausogut wie im Norden!
Jetzt sind wir in El Bolsón, der Wetterbericht sagt leichte Schneeschauer für morgen früh voraus, hoffen wir es stimmt nicht!!! Noch zweitausendfünfhundert Kilometer stehen uns bevor im kühlen und schönen Patagonien! Aber sehen wir es als die Vorbereitung für die kalte Jahreszeit zurück zu Hause... wenn wir nicht doch noch in die Karibik fliehen ; ) Gedanklich tun wir das oft!

wir heizen Euch dann ein mit dem Kachelofen oder Kamin.

Bei uns ist es meistens noch wunderschönes Herbstwetter, manchmal fast noch sommerlich.
